I'M RENEE
As a mom myself, I know what it's like to be absolutely sleep deprived. My daughter wanted to be held all night and day, asleep or not. I couldn't put her down it seemed! Something had to give... I scoured the internet and local resources for tried and true methods of getting my daughter to sleep independently, but there were so many! How would I know which method to choose?
And that's when I realized - there are hundreds of methods to the madness of independent sleep because every baby, every person, is different. We must assess the situation as a whole, considering factors like amount and length of day sleep, daytime activities, bedtime routines, sleeping environment, and even diet can affect sleep! When you take a holistic approach such as this, you can be sure that the areas needing focus the most are the ones being addressed, rather than applying a blanket training method that ends up being the same for every baby, yet only works for some.
